Judith FurseSwindon Braille Services is run by Judith Furse, an experienced braillist and proofreader.

Trained by the RNIB, she obtained her Braille Proficiency Certificate in 1987 and worked as a proofreader at the RNIB’s braille production centre in Islington for four years.

She has taught braille at the RNIB vocational training college in London and has coached children and adults learning braille on an individual basis.

She is a member of the UK Association for Accessible Formats (UKAAF) and participates in the Lay Readership Panel at the Great Western Hospital Foundation Trust, a group seeking to improve the quality of patient information literature.
